Ethereum mining update: Mining speed of Litecoin slower than expected

When you shit about a week from Ethereum with your 5850 GPU, I am pleased to announce that the speed I can dig ethhereum remained stable. In fact, when the Guiminer on board, my current bitcoin mining remains impressive of about 275mhash/s.

However, I recently created Litecoin Mining, and the results are nothing more than surprised. Although I expected a significant increase in speed, I was disappointed to discover that it was actually 10 times slower than my normal Ethereum mining speed.

Looking at this, a few days ago, when I started Mining Litecoin, I discovered that I try to reach 50% of my normal Ethereum mining. Only when I moved to Guiminer and updated my GPU, the performance began to return to previous levels.

I tried to execute different Litecoin mining parameters by changing the parameters and updating my controllers, but nothing seems to be the difference. Litecoin Hardware simply does not seem to respond well to the new mining algorithm or my configuration.

I care about this development, since it can mean a major problem with the team or mining software of Litecoin. If you plan to get involved in Litecoin mining, you must investigate and invest in high quality hardware that can handle the necessary mining tasks.

In this article, I will discuss some of the possible causes of this deceleration and what consumers can expect to advance. It is also worth noting that Litecoin’s mining performance in the past was inconsistent, so it is not uncommon for mining.

Update:

After the publication of this article, I received some responses from the Miners from Litecoin colleagues who reported a similar speed reduction. While some have assigned this problem to update the software or corruption of the controller, others believe that the main hardware problem can occur during the game.

It is very important to keep in mind that Litecoin mining is still considered a relatively niche market compared to Ethereum and Bitcoin, but it can still be profitable using the right hardware and strategy. If you are going to get involved in Litecoin mining, I encourage you to investigate, invest in high quality equipment and monitor your results.

Conclusion:

Being an Ethereum mountain for a long time, I used to take my GPU to its limits and see the impressive productivity gain. But when it comes to Litecoin mining, everything was dramatic worse. Until we see some hardware or software improvements, Litecoin miners should know the possible traps.

If you are reading this article and is considering getting involved in Litecoin Mining, I hope this update has been useful to present a vision of what to expect. Remember to stay alert, constantly update your equipment and always monitor your results: the high quality counting world may be undefeated!
